NMSAR Medical Coordination
Serving to improve medical care delivered during Search and Rescue missions throughout New Mexico to promote the best patient outcome.
All NMSAR Responders, including those who do not have medical training, are required to register with the NM SAR Medical Coordinators and complete the required online training.
This includes NM EMR, EMT, EMT-A, and Paramedics.
SAR responders with no medical licenses. This includes those with WFA and WFR certifications.
Field Coordinators, Ordering Managers, and anyone else involved with IC operations.
Monthly Online Medical Training
Statewide online medical trainings and mission debriefs are held via Zoom on the last Monday of the month from 19:00 to 20:00. Open to all responders.

The NM SAR Coordinators serve as a liaison between the SAR Resource Officer, NM SAR Community, contracted medical directors, and other agencies involved with medical care on SAR missions.
